Part-time Children’s Ministry Director
You are a strong team player with a passion to help children and families experience the transforming power of the Gospel. You have a spiritual gift for teaching and can develop and implement Ministry plans and goals. You have a heart for mentoring, training and empowering others to work in their gifts.
You’re flexible, always planning ahead and self-motivated. You have learned to prioritize, including personal and professional, ensuring timely follow up and positive working relationships with volunteers, co-workers and personal contacts. You enjoy working with a team that values collaboration as well as personal responsibility and have proven leadership ability in putting together a team and working well with them.
To be successful in this position you will bring at least two years in a leadership role in Children’s Ministry. Your experience demonstrates your ability to maintain high attention to detail, multi-task, exercise good judgment and show initiative.
You have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor your style to the varying internal and external contacts, maintaining a friendly and professional manner. You work well under pressure and enjoy diffusing a tense situation and turning it into a “win” for all involved. You are accurate, manage your time well and provide creative solutions to issues that arise. You pride yourself on your ability to build strong relationships centered on trust and to maintain the highest standard of service and efficiency. You have a positive, “can-do” attitude toward challenges and know how to manage your stress level.
