Job Description

The Context Analyst/Advocacy Support Worker will seek to educate and facilitate analysis and reflection in country teams and MCC constituency about key context trends and the impact of the policies and practices of governments and corporations (national and foreign) on the people of Latin America and the Caribbean. The worker will help identify possible responses from country teams and constituency and support/resource both groups for advocacy and programmatic actions. As MCC partner organizations take on advocacy actions, this worker will support these actions whenever this is relevant. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is important. This position is supervised by the MCC Area Director for South America and Mexico.

The start date for this three-year assignment is January 26, 2015.

MCC requires all workers to be committed to a personal Christian faith, have active membership in or demonstrated commitment to and participation in a local Christian church, and be committed to non-violent biblical peacemaking.
