We operate a professional kitchen 7 days a week that serves our church family and our community. Our kitchen is responsible for catering events of 10 – 750 people and we operate a full Café every Saturday and Sunday serving 400 people over the weekend. We are a fast paced environment that relies on a great team of volunteers and staff.
We are seeking an experienced cook with a great attitude, a desire to grow and learn, and a strong work ethic.
Min. 3 years’ cooking experience, preferably with banquet or catering experience
FOOD SAFE certification
Must be available to work weekends and evenings
Ability to work under pressure during busy periods
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to bend, lift and carry 50 pound bags
Experience working with volunteers
Have excellent time management skills
Ensure sanitary cooking conditions and appropriate safe food handling
