Job Description

External Grants Coordinator Location: Winnipeg, MB Applications accepted until January 10, 2014

The External Grants Coordinator is primarily responsible for seeking external funding to support MCC’s international and domestic program in Canada. This includes identifying and perusing funding sources from public and privates sources as well as responding to calls-for-proposals from agencies such as the Canadian Department for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development. The primary tasks of the position include drafting proposals, project monitoring, and preparing reporting. The External Grants Coordinator is responsible to the Co-Director of the Planning, Learning and Disaster Response (PLDR) department and requires significant collaboration with both MCC provincial program directors (Canada domestic program) and MCC Area Directors and Representatives (international program). The position may require significant domestic and international travel.
