Job Description

Food Security and Livelihoods Coordinator
Location: Winnipeg, MB

The Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) Coordinator is a member of the Planning, Learning and Disaster Response (PLDR) department and is supervised by one of the department’s Co-Directors.

The coordinator works to:

  1. Resource and support program staff regarding best practices and planning, monitoring and evaluation in the food security and livelihoods sector, including review of project proposals, as well as relevant assessments, monitoring and evaluation.
  2. Review and manage projects funded out of MCC’s Emergency Assistance Dedicated Fund (EADF) and MCC’s account at Canadian Foodgrains Bank (CFGB).
  3. Work with regional and provincial Donor Relations staff to connect them to FSL projects.
