Full-time House Parents
House Parents play a key role in our residential care and treatment program for children and youth aged 6-17. Acting as professional foster parents for seven children who are in the care of an Ontario Children’s Aid Society, the house parents provide a nurturing and caring environment for children that have experienced significant trauma and loss. House parents often come from backgrounds in teaching, camp ministry, and youth work. Experience working with groups that experience marginalization as a result of living with a mental health disability is an asset.
