Full-Time IT User Support Technician

The IT User Support Technician is closely linked to MCC’s global IT (Information Technology) department in North America (Akron/Winnipeg) to ensure effective collaboration and integration of all IT functions. This position is responsible to ensure up-to-date, functioning, and effective IT systems in their assigned location, provide support and training for IT programs and new roll-outs, interface with the North American MCC IT systems, develop best practices, standardization, and documentation.
This individual is accountable for overall work performance to the MCC Area Director (based in Johannesburg, South Africa), while reporting to the IT Associate Director for User Experience (based in Winnipeg, Canada) for the IT aspects of the role.
This position provides primary support for IT users in Africa, Europe and the Middle East. The person in this role will be located in Pietermaritzburg or Johannesburg, South Africa.
The start date for this 3-year assignment is as soon as possible.
