Full-Time MBCI Alumni Relations & Event Coordinator

Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive event management plan for major fundraising events
• Assist with the organization and logistics of major school and recruitment events
• Assist with the development of a promotion strategy to support major fundraising events & student recruitment
• Work collaboratively with alumni on class reunions assisting and attending the events as requested
• Assist with the concept development of the Alumni Newsletter – The Link and responsible for the solicitation of content
• Work in conjunction with Director of Advancement and Alumni Representative from the Board of Directors to develop and implement a plan to increase alumni engagement
• Maintain alumni database in Raiser’s Edge
• Assist with donor relations and solicitations
• Support the Advancement Team as required

Requirements:
• 2-5 year’s experience in event management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proven creativity
• Demonstrated initiative
