SEEKING BOARD MEMBERS – GENERATION RISING
Generation Rising is seeking passionate and committed individuals to join our volunteer Board of Directors. As a board member, you will help guide our vision and strategy to empower children through Christ-centered education in Latin America.
This is an unpaid volunteer position with some in-person participation. Our Board meets monthly in person in our Winnipeg office, and we welcome applicants from across Manitoba who are aligned with our mission.
About Generation Rising
Generation Rising exists to break the cycle of poverty through quality, Christ-centered education. By partnering with local church leaders in Latin America and investing in high-impact schools run by the local church, we create opportunities for children to thrive and build stronger communities. Our work is driven by faith, generosity, and a deep commitment to lasting change.
Who We’re Looking For
Manitoba-based candidates with strong business acumen and expertise in the areas below will be preferred: Board governance and leadership, education, ministry, business, human resources, volunteer programs and finance.
Above all, we seek dedicated, faith-driven individuals who believe in the power of education and the power of the Gospel to transform lives.
Commitment & Expectations
- Serve a three-year term (renewable)
- Attend monthly board meetings (mostly in person in the Winnipeg office)
- Participate in some events throughout the year
- Provide strategic guidance, oversight, and advocacy for Generation Rising
