Job Description

POSITION: Administrative Director
STATUS: 60% (minimum 24 hours per week)
START DATE: June 15, 2021

The Administrative Director works with the Lead Pastor and Executive Team to implement the annual Ministry Plan and achieve the overall purpose of Bakerview Church. The areas of direct responsibility for the Administrative Director are:

Oversight of Finances and Facilities (65%)
Oversight of Human Resources (10%)
Oversight of Church Operations (25%)

– Commitment to a life of following Jesus and adherence to the Mennonite
Brethren Confession of Faith
– Become a member of Bakerview Church
– Relevant bookkeeping experience
– Five to ten years of experience in a management or leadership role in either a
business or non-profit environment
– Financial acumen and proven ability to create and manage budgets in
multifaceted organizations
– Preferred post-secondary education or equivalent work experience level
– Computer and social media literate
– Recent relevant and successful experience in administrative leadership

The position of Administrative Director requires flexibility in hours available for
work, occasionally including evenings and weekends. Sundays may be considered part of the work week for this role.

We are a community of about 350 people who desire to engage with each other in allegiance to Jesus. We are seeking a minimum FTE of 60%, but are open to negotiation with the right candidate. Compensation will be commensurate with training and experience.
