C2C Network, a North American church planting network and MB Mission, a global church planting mission, have recently merged to become one agency, Multiply, that is focused on inspiring, equipping and encouraging the body of Christ to plant and multiply churches locally, nationally and globally. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Jesus, desires to see the church engaged in mission locally, nationally and globally, and is someone who has Human Resources leadership expertise that can unleash people into their full potential.

  • Position Title:  Director of Human Resources
  • Responsible to:  C.E.O.
  • Purpose:  The Director of Human Resources provides strategic leadership for all the HR functions in the organization and oversees the duty of care for our workers in North American and Internationally. As a newly merged global mission agency they will work alongside the senior leaders to develop and align HR systems and processes to organizational priorities and needs. The HR Director leads the HR team in implementing all aspects of the HR function, right down to the tactical and transactional level. She/he serves as a leader of change across the organization and as an HR advisor, coach and consultant to leadership, in support of organizational goals and objectives.


  • Participate with senior leadership in identifying organizational needs and priorities and the role of HR in assisting and driving these priorities
  • Anticipate and identify future people-related issues to ensure strategies, programs and processes for all HR functions (e.g. recruitment, staffing, retention, performance management, succession planning, compensation, and change management) are consistent with the current and future needs of the organization
  • In consultation with senior leadership, review, revise and implement HR policies, processes and procedures in response to internal and external needs and in compliance with relevant employment and employment related legislation requirements
  • Assess our people related systems and processes across the organization for opportunities to streamline for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide advice and training where appropriate to managers and supervisors regarding current employment legislation, HR best practices, employee relations issues and performance management
  • Manage the organizational group benefits and pension plans
  • Oversee and monitor the payroll process regarding compensation, benefits administration and status changes
  • Ensure risk management policies/framework is sufficient and processes are in place to assure compliance
  • Oversee incident management process; ensuring incidents are appropriately documented & investigated and reported to appropriate levels of leadership
  • Maintain and update the Policies and Procedures
  • Liaise with legal counsel on HR and immigration issues as required
  • Supervise, direct and evaluate the human resources team with emphasis to team development, Biblical leadership, service orientation and collaboration


  • Growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to a local church
  • Sense of calling to church planting locally, nationally and globally
  • High leadership acumen based in Biblical convictions
  • Minimum 10 years of management experience, preferably in the human resources field
  • Certified Human Resources Professional designation is preferred
  • Experience working with relevant human resources systems across multiple environments
  • Superior judgment within a broad spectrum of HR functions and issues
  • Experience overcoming the issues inherent in a geographically dispersed organization with a demonstrated commitment to consistency, equity and transparency
  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, including goal accomplishment and work prioritization
  • Good interpersonal communication skills including listening, relating, diplomacy, tact and creative problem solving
  • Strategic thinker
