Job Description

The position of Office Administrator will assist pastoral and ministry staff in carrying out the clerical requirements of the church’s ministries. This person contributes to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of pastoral staff. The office admin also contributes significantly in the areas of communication and coordination.

A job share arrangement for this role may also be considered.

Responsibilities include:

Reception, Admin support, Communications, Financial Data Entry

Key Competencies include: 

  1. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  2. Excellent computer skills:
    1. Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams
    2. Accounting Software (e.g. Power Church/Sage)
    3. Image editing / publishing software (e.g. Canva/Photoshop/InDesign)
  3. Website administration knowledge/experience an asset (WordPress)
